Michelle Nelson, Administrator, Bright Stars of Bethlehem
“When the people are touched by the programs of Bright Stars of Bethlehem, they are given a reason to see and feel hope in their future.”
– Michelle Nelson
Michelle Nelson has been with Bright Stars of Bethlehem for more than five years. She is primarily responsible for database administration for Bright Stars of Bethlehem, however, she also assists with event planning, resource development and other general needs of the organization. Michelle has a background in business and finance, having worked for AMCORE Financial from 1985-2009.
Passion for the Palestinian People
Michelle likes working for Bright Stars of Bethlehem knowing that the support provides outreach and inclusion of all people at the college, through the youth programs, the care of seniors and the support of young families.
She believes that because people touched by the Bright Stars of Bethlehem programs have experienced hope, they are able to share hope with their community. It causes hope to become contagious.
